I will tell you some about our guesthouse, but if you have any more questions, feel free to e-mail me.Our house is located in the central area of ancient Chiangmai town in Thailand, we are close to but away from the noisy tourist area. Wanasit is surrounded by the local people who have lived here for many generations. Clean? Of course I can guarantee because I do it myself! Quiet because it's a small house and there are no other guesthouses around it. |

Why should I stay in your guesthouse?If you like to be disturbed by hordes of servants all the time, then you might opt for a 4 or 5 star hotel. But you won't touch the reality of Chiangmai - the way of life for Chiangmai people. Here in Wanasit guesthouse you will stay with us - see how we live and talk with us, share experience and culture. You will get some insight, no matter how long or short your stay. Of course we are there for you if you need some help or advice. Just ask us. Our house is located next to the largest temple in Chiangmai the Wat Pha Singha. We are about 15 minutes walk from the largest shopping center, Kad Suan Kaew, where you find movie theaters, ice skating, bowling, all famous American fast-food and lots more. Maybe not what the average tourist looks for, but the lucky few of you who stay a bit longer will appreciate it. Night bazaar is a 10 Baht ride with the songthaew. That's where you find almost everything made in northern Thailand and of course fake brandname clothes and cheap computer software and latest movies on cd. |
What do we offer?Our house is not luxurious. It's standard house for middle class of Thai. Since march 2005 we opened a new building which is a little more away from the alley. You can see it on the 2nd foto. Nice, clean and quiet as before, but now also brand new.Service - food & drink, laundry, overseas call, Internet, transportation - just call me when you arrive Chiangmai. I will take you to see my house (no charge). If you don't like it don't worry. I can take you to see the other guesthouse (50 Thai baht charge for taxi service though). Cost between 200 - 400 baht per room per night (40 baht/1 us.dollar). |
